Trust me, you'll be extremely disappointed if you do that. Vit is far more important than Agi. And I can tell you from experience, having to remake my knight, that concentration and aura heal are the biggest waste of skill points imaginable. Your maxed out aura heal will heal around 200 HP (or less) with 3 auras used and all baphomet gear equipped. And concentration reduces defense which is a HUGE no-no. Also, Head Crush, Bash, and Aura Strike are used in every battle multiple times. A knight's basic strategy is Head crush, bash till you have 3 auras, Aura Strike, Bash till 3 auras, repeat till the monster dies (and occasionally Shield Bash to gain 2 auras quickly and knock the enemy down). The ammount you'll have to provoke is surprisingly low and even in raids it may never even be used since you will likely have all the aggro. Wild Provoke's effect seems to not even work and after seeing its effectiveness, I never ever use it. If a monster is attacking a party member, you can easily attract them with provoke. If it's cooling down, shield boomerang works nicely. Another reason why you desperately want your 3 main attacking skills is to maintain and gain aggro. The more damage you do, the faster you gain it. Also, using HP potions (red or purple) will also generate aggro.

I'm sorry if I come across a little bossy or know-it-all like. I've been through lots of trial and error with my knight and after remaking him once and resetting once after that, I now know there's nothing I can do to make it any better. I just want you to have a great knight and not make the same mistakes I did.

ps: When you get a weapon statue from dungeons, it's almost always better to go for the shield rather than a new sword.

Any opinion on the 30/35/30 (STR/VIT/AGI) build? I was aiming for that build because it seemed to balance HP and Flee.

I agree with the Wild Provoke thing. It's sort of useless in panic situations and the extremely long cooldown time even at max level hinders it greatly.

@Tiduspeco
Well if you add the extra heal the potion would give. Then I guess adding vit wouldn't be that bad at all. But I heard some say that adding 40 vit wouldn't give you much HP.

You don't need to say sorry. I actually want to try your build after seeing how you defend it that it would look like you're becoming a little bossy. I think you have good points with what you've said. But I think I still need to max wild provoke just to make sure that all aggro would be on me.

@Cross
I was actually thinking of build it somewhat like that with stats. But only 20 vit then 40 str or 40 agi. But some say that even after getting 45 agi it didn't add enough dodge. So I guess I'll go for Vit instead of Agi. Since more vit = more heal on potion. That's just my on my part though

In my opinion you're wasting some points on Wide Provoke. Wide Provoke doesn't work like the normal Provoke. The effect of Wide Provoke is that the monsters around you attack you for ~6 sec, but you still don't have the aggro. After 6 secs the monster will get back to the person who has the highest aggro.
If you get any trouble with your aggro, you should use pots with them you are able to build up your aggro pretty fast.

I agree with Elaice. Wide Provoke isn't worth maxing. Pot usage, Single Provoke, Shield Boomerang, and Grand Cross should suffice in keeping aggro if you use them correctly.

Using pots will increase your aggro pretty fast. I'm not saying that the aggro mobs will automatically attack you but when you use pots near them it's easier for you to keep/build up the aggro. I'm not sure how much aggro you get from 1 lv 40 potion, I guess it's around 2k-5k.
Just try it out, it works pretty well.

From what I've heard, potions increase aggro by the ammount of HP they recover. So at 0 vit a Red Potion V would gain you 500 aggro since it heals 500. BUT, you have to take into account your Vit and aggro increasing skills. My knight's Vit is 500 so my potions heal 50% more, so that's 750. Also, aura armor increases all my aggro by 3x. So the total aggro I gain with 1 Red Potion V is 2250.

I'm currently using the Skill build that Tiduspeco shared. So far it's not that bad.

One more thing. I just noticed how useful Aura Armor is. It really makes the difference. Same goes with Aura Blade with damage.

If you are going to be a knight, Aura Armor is needed. You don't really need Aura Blade, maybe just for questing but you shouldn't use it for raids or dungen runs.

I had both Aura Blade and Aura Armor maxed before because I thought farming would be much easier with Aura Blade. Thankfully I was given a reset scroll because Aura Blade is awful.

Yeah I use Aura Armor on Dungeon. There's a huge HP difference when I use Aura Armor.

:ani_panic: So you removed Aura Blade? I reset my skills just for that :ani_ohnoes:
